Beth Alexander 

Clinical Psychologist & Wellbeing Consultant

Beth Alexander is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA). She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Fellow of the Clinical College of the APS. Beth has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry and 15 years as a Psychologist. She has worked in a broad range of areas including Private Practice, General Practice, Intensive Care Units, Community and Rural/ Remote areas.  Beth also consults for a number of Elite level sporting Organisations including The Australian Football League (AFL), The AFL Players Association (AFLPA), The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), AusCycling, The Professional Footballers Association (PFA), Netball Australia, Australian Cricket Association (ACA) and the South Australian National Football League (SANFL).


Beth’s special interests include wellbeing, elite performance, stress reduction, self-confidence, resilience building and peri-natal health. She also enjoys collaborating with clients to manage depression, anxiety, stress, burnout and post-natal depression. She has a particular interest in the prevention of illness and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

Beth is passionate about caring for people, helping them achieve their potential and assisting them to live more fulfilling, meaningful lives. Her true passion is to help clients navigate their own lives to find joy and purpose. Sometimes circumstances, fears and expectations from ourselves and others can prevent us from living a life that is meaningful to us. Beth thrives on helping people discover what is meaningful to them and to adjust thoughts and behaviours so they can live according to their values.

She provides a caring environment for people to discuss their concerns and help them achieve their goals. Beth draws from a wide range of methodologies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, supportive counselling, Positive Psychology and the sensitive use of humour, which can be helpful in difficult situations. All sessions are tailored to suit individual needs and goals.                                                                                             

lizzie rogers 

Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)

Lizzie Rogers is a Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Lizzie has completed her undergraduate training at The University of Adelaide and Clinical Masters at the University of South Australia. She has worked as a psychologist in both Private Practice and in different roles within the South Australian public sector, including acute inpatient and community health. Lizzie works from a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a particular interest in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. 


Lizzie has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families. At Beyond Psychology she will be working with clients who are 16 and above. She is especially experienced in helping adolescents and adults who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, perfectionism and body image concerns. Lizzie enjoys working with individuals who find themselves stuck in negative life patterns to make meaningful change towards their most important values.

Beyond Psychology is situated on the Parade in Kensington opposite Heyne's Garden Centre

The Practice has been renovated and designed to provide easy wheelchair access including amenities. There is parking available at the front of the Practice on the Parade, as well as limited off street parking via the laneway at the rear of the building.
